Meet the Songwriters

Daniel Allen is an Alabama born, Nashville based artist. Lead singer and songwriter for the southern rock band The Vegabonds. He has written songs for all 7 albums spanning the 16 year career of The Vegabonds as well as a solo record called “Alabama Boy” under the moniker DB Allen. The Vegabonds latest release in June 2025 titled “Young and Unafraid” garnered critical acclaim with songs filled with heartbreak, hope, and nostalgia.

Brad Clayton has been carving his own path since the late 90s. Finding his muses in the paradoxes of southern religion, the sweeping rhythm of time, and the universal arc of love and life, Clayton has created his own ethos. 

Part snake oil salesman, part pulpit preacher - these songs find a home for the underdog, the overachiever, the downtrodden, and the elated. His EP, Excommunication, and full-length, The Keep, are out now on Minor Hymns Records and have received glowing reviews. 

Clayton also fronts the indie post-rock band All Those Flashing Lights.

Beth Hazel Farris is a Folk/ Acoustic- Singer, Songwriter and Recording Artist out of Dothan Alabama. Beth made music her trade and passion as a mother to her 4 children. She writes poetry that overflows from her heart and adds melodies to those words for others to hear. She is a story teller by nature and homemade songs are her favorite way to speak. She writes and sings of love, hardships, grace, and her faith. She has two albums, “Life is All Music”, and “Darlin’”.

Matt Rogers is a dynamic and soulful country artist whose heartfelt lyrics and distinctive voice have captivated audiences nationwide. Known for his powerful storytelling, Matt has established himself as a respected songwriter, earning accolades from NSAI, CMT, and American Songwriter for his authentic and emotionally charged work.

Blending traditional country roots with modern edge, Matt crafts songs that explore love, heartache, and life’s simple truths — connecting deeply with listeners of all ages. His engaging live performances have led him to share the stage with country powerhouses like Chris Stapleton, Walker Hayes, Clint Black, Clay Walker, Jake Owen, Cole Swindell, LOCASH, Brothers Osborne, Chris Janson, Chapel Hart, Justin Moore, and Michael Ray.

South Alabama country boy, Dustin Herring, went from kicking up dust on Saturday nights to playing under neon lights on Broadway. From riding on a tractor to writing about it in a song, Dustin is showing how to “outlast, outwork and out believe” in Nashville. His country roots will never change, his goal is to hunt, fish and song write everyday. Brant McCollough was a teenage country singer and high school quarterback from Samson, Alabama, who gained fame on American Idol Season 22 (2024), known for his viral TikTok videos and soulful country sound, earning him a Golden Ticket to Hollywood, advancing through the Idol Arena round, but ultimately being cut before the Top 24. He impressed judges like Luke Bryan with his rendition of Chris Stapleton's "Fire Away" and later performed Rihanna's "Stay" in Hollywood Week before his journey ended. 

Dylan Kelley is a country music singer-songwriter from the dirt road side of

Marianna, Fl. Dylan has performed all across Georgia, Alabama, and Florida including

some exciting stages like The Honky Tonk Lounge in Nashville, and Tootsie’s Orchid

Lounge in Nashville and Panama City Beach. His sound and style are sure to attract

the attention of the crowd by covering today’s and yesterday’s popular hits! Dylan’s

original music is packed with true stories and raw emotion that are sure to keep you

Anna has always been musically gifted. She started out playing piano and singing with her family from a very young age, and that grew into a career after she studied music in college and learned over 20+ instruments. Anna brings something unique to the table that not many performers can, in that she is a one woman band! Playing up to 8 instruments at a time with her ability to use live looping technology, she has truly found her niche in the world of solo performing. She is also a natural born storyteller, and has just released her first studio album called "World Famous", recorded at Riverfront Studio in Nashville, TN. She has a unique sound that is reminiscent of country greats like Patsy Cline and George Jones, with folk and southern gospel influences mixed in. Anna is a versatile instrumentalist and singer;her motto is "sing something that means something"--she has an authentic, heartfelt passion for music that is evident in everything she sings. 

David Martin is a talented musician whose roots run deep in the genres of country, blues, and southern rock. Influenced by the likes of Keith Whitley, Chris Stapleton, and Joe Bonamassa, David's music is a unique blend of soulful lyrics and powerful instrumentals. Having recently worked with Grammy Nominated producer Travis Wyrick on his debut 5-song EP, David's career is on the rise. His passion for music shines through in every note he plays, captivating audiences with his raw talent and heartfelt performances. With a string of accomplishments under his belt and a promising future ahead, David Martin is a rising star in the music industry. Andrew West is a singer, guitarist, drummer, and cofounder of Up to No Good, a high-energy folk-pop band born out of Dothan, Alabama's vibrant local music scene.

Andrew brings raw emotion and storytelling to every performance. He and best friend Boone Edmunson have shaped their signature sound by blending heartfelt lyrics and harmonies while playing hometown venues and reaching new audiences across the Southeast. Andrew’s love for family, friends, and God helps him drive Up to No Good with passion, authenticity, and a

gift for making folks smile, laugh, or cry with him as he makes music for the soul. 

At just 16 years old, Baylee Bennett Knighton is making waves in the world of country music with a voice far beyond her years and a heart full of stories to tell.

This young singer-songwriter from Headland, AL is already turning heads — including winning top honors at the Dothan Youth Songwriters Challenge and the Lake Martin Songwriters 20 and under Songwriters Competition, where her original songwriting talent took center stage.

Baylee’s music reflects classic country storytelling and her love for Jesus, drawing inspiration from legends like Keith Whitley and today’s stars like Chris Stapleton and Anne Wilson. She began writing songs at age 13, channeling themes of faith, life lessons, and big dreams — all delivered with honesty and charm that connect instantly with her audience.

Whether she’s performing at local venues or sharing acoustic clips online, Baylee connects deeply with her audience, building a loyal and growing fanbase.

Boone Edmondson is a singer-songwriter from Slocomb, Alabama, whose sound blends heartfelt storytelling with Southern soul. Drawing inspiration from small-town roots and real-life experiences, Boone’s music carries an honest, lived-in warmth that resonates with sound of country, Americana, folk, mixed with the rhythm of pop and rock influence. Whether performing solo with an acoustic guitar or playing with his buddy Andrew West in their band UPTONOGOOD, he delivers songs that feel both deeply personal and universally relatable, through and through.

Cheyloe is a "y'allternative" (alt-country/Americana) singer/songwriter from Birmingham, AL. 

She has loved the craft of songwriting and verse for a long time, memorizing poems and 

writing her own little songs from as early as the age of 9. Cheyloe is a member of the Bluebird 

Cafe’s Sunday Night Writer’s Nights family and has been performing live since she was 15 

years old. Her band, Cheyloe's Sleepless Knights, auditioned and were awarded a headlining 

slot at The World Games 2022. Their EP, titled

From Wicksburg, Alabama, Jared Harden is an aspiring country artist whose music blends traditional country roots with the edge of southern rock and modern storytelling. Since playing his first gig in 2024, he’s been named the 2024 Titans of Talent Champion and opened the 2025 Breakout Music Festival, sharing the stage with Jackson Dean, Wyatt Flores, and Bayker Blankenship. He was also nominated for 2025 Favorite Male Vocalist of the Wiregrass. Jared draws inspiration from artists like Luke Combs, Blackberry Smoke, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Corey Smith, crafting songs that are honest, relatable, and distinctly Southern to the core. He lives in Wicksburg with his wife, Chelsea, their daughters, Lennon and Reece, and their dog, Bocephus. Deeply grateful for the kind people he’s met along the way, Jared looks forward to continuing to grow, network, and connect with others as he navigates his path in the music industry. 

Born and raised in South Alabama, Joe Harley has been around Music/Musicians since birth and started playing shows in Middle school. Starting on drums (his first love), and getting his first guitar at 17 years old, and soon started writing shortly after.  Currently, The Frontman for the Local Band Bottom’s Up and The Drummer for Levee Road, while also performing Acoustic/DJ Shows all around the Southeast. Performing a good mix of Country/Rock/Alternative with something for everyone.

Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, 24-year-old Hunter Clark is a construction worker by day and a rising country music artist by night. His musical journey began early—singing at age three, picking up his first guitar at nine, and writing his own songs by seventeen—each step shaping a sound rooted in authenticity and lived experience.

Hunter sets himself apart through a genre-blending approach that pulls from country’s storytelling tradition, hip-hop’s edge, blues’ groove, and rock & roll’s energy. The result is a modern country sound that feels both familiar and fresh, grounded yet forward-looking.

He is currently signed with Frontier Events, a nationwide promotion and management company that has worked with artists including Brantley Gilbert, Ella Langley, and Tucker Wetmore. Hunter’s upcoming EP, Miss You More, slated for release in 2025, explores themes of love, loss, and longing through emotionally driven lyrics and melodic hooks, marking a major step in his artistic evolution.

Hunter has shared the stage with notable artists such as Megan Moroney, Chase Matthew, Kidd G, Mitchell Tenpenny, Darryl Worley, Kameron Marlowe, Frank Foster, Heath Sanders, and Mason Horne. With each performance, he continues to build momentum and draw attention from fans and industry professionals alike. As his sound resonates with a growing audience, Hunter Clark is emerging as one of modern country music’s most promising new voices.

It began in a Dothan, Alabama bedroom at sixteen: a cheap acoustic guitar, an 8-track recorder, and a heart full of questions too big for small-town roads. He poured love, doubt, and flickering faith onto tape after tape—raw diary entries in minor chords and falsetto. But he kept them locked away. Too honest. Too exposed.

A tenth-grade reading of Hemingway cracked the door open; the guitar became the way through. For fifteen years he carried those hidden songs to juke joints, beach fires, festival stages across the South, and even ancient streets in York, England—learning to hush rooms in Muscle Shoals and turn peanut festivals into revivals. Yet the real songs—the ones that named names—stayed in that bedroom.

Until now.
